ALLEY CAT | Member Michael T wanted me to post this picture of him holding an object that he can't remember what it was... Can anyone figure out what that object is? I'll send him this link so Michael can follow your guesses....he wants his memory jogged... . . |
padroo | Maybe a bullet reloader? Just a guess. |
Michael T | Definitely not a bullet loader. F.Y.I., this picture was taken back in 1967 so that's why it's so frustrated that I can't remember it. Thanks. |
robin | Microscope? Musical instrument What were your interest 1967 |
alprowl | Something to do with time travel...That's why there are 2 clocks on headboard... |

Michael T | I had a polaroid camera back then but it didn't look like that. It look's like a strap coming off of the object though. I've played the drums all my life and have had five sets but it doesn't belong to those either. I had two alarm clocks as I never was a "morning person". Now being retired 13 years, I wake up naturally about 11:00 AM everyday ! |
robin | better alarm clock. would explain the look on your face...lolThis message has been edited by robin on 02-03-2018 at 10:16 AM |

Michael T | Thanks for all your input, but I guess I will be going to my grave not knowing what I'm holding in the picture. Does anyone know how to get a hold of Mike or Frank on "American Pickers" ??? |

The link below might be a good place to start. http://www.antiquearchaeology.com/locations.php |
Michael T | Thanks for the link. I sent Mike Wolf an email and will see if I get any response. |
alrtg | Michael T, I see your car has the Carbon Fiber tips on it and you have eliminated the rear bumpers. When I bought my Prowler it had the Mills rear pan and still had the short carbon fiber tips too. I decided I didn't like them as they appeared to me, to stick out to far. I decided to do something different and went with a GTX style reproduction tip that I happen to like better. It still maintains the Mopar feel too. |
Michael T | Look's great! I have never liked the front or rear bumpers on the Kat. |
ALLEY CAT | http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6fI79xQ_DMs . .Part of a train set,,,,with a auto transporter carrier on the back portion? Let us know if you ever find out..... Michael, in his later teen years, was the Caboose while with his buddies in a train setting This message has been edited by ALLEY CAT on 02-12-2018 at 07:31 AM |
Michael T | AC, My "American Flyer" train set was packed away when slot car tracks became popular long before this picture was taken. Isn't the last guy in the train usually the "biggest" for obvious reasons.

ALLEY CAT | "Isn't the last guy usually the "biggest" for obvious reasons?" Maybe with your buddies that might have been so,,,with my buddies it was the guy who had hunger pains ,, so it was never I This message has been edited by ALLEY CAT on 02-12-2018 at 11:35 AM |
